Weekly Happenings August 14-18

Student Absences:  If your child is absent please send a note when your child returns to school explaining why they were absent.  If your child goes to the doctor you may send a doctor’s excuse instead of a handwritten note.  Your child’s absence will be counted unexcused until we receive a note or an excuse.

The Student Handbook may be found on our website:  laurelchristian.org

Kid’s Café will begin serving lunch on Wednesday, August 16.  Remember to send a lunch with your child until then.

Be sure to put your child’s name on all lunch boxes, backpacks, jackets, etc.

PTO:  If you did not get a chance to join PTO at orientation you may pick up a form in the office.  The cost is $20 per family.  This is a great way to get involved in your child’s school.
