Homeroom Mothers Needed: All Homeroom Mothers and their helpers are needed on Grandparents Day! There is no sign up schedule. Just come whenever you are available to help. We will need help throughout the day from 7:30am-2:00pm! We will need help receiving food items in the carpool line, replenishing food tables, cleaning tables between classes, etc…

Golf Cart Needed: If you have a golf cart and would be available to drive it on Grandparents Day to shuttle grandparents from the parking lot to the school please call the office at 601-649-3999.

Grandparents Day: Friday, October 3, grandparents are invited to come and share a wonderful time of fellowship with their grandchildren, their grandchildren’s classmates and their school staff. Grandparents will also enjoy an assortment of food with their grandchildren. (Students will still need to bring a lunch if they have not ordered from Kid’s Café.) After grandparents have eaten they will visit their grandchild’s classroom. Afterward, children may leave with their grandparents or stay in their classroom. Students who don’t leave with their grandparents will be dismissed at 2:00. At that time, your child may go to Extended Care. The following times are when grandparents will eat with their grandchildren:

Grandparents Day: Parents are asked to send their food item this Friday, October 3, with their child’s grade written on top of the DISPOSABLE CONTAINER. Homeroom Mothers will be available to take your food item in the carpool line at Morning Drop Off. See Class Assignments in the PTO News to know what to bring.
